NEW COD

so how do you think the new cod: world at war will be and what do you think they r going to do with cod 6. i personally think cod: world at war doesn't look to bad but i would rather wait and see how it turns out as for cod 6 i heard alot of rumors such as instead of being modern warfare it will be set in the future which would be kind of cool but what do you guys think?

i think tht cod shuld come up wit sumptin a little more creative than WW2 for once but for 6 i think tht would be okay but not tht good cuz wat most peeps like about COD4 is the realism tht it brings so if its in the future it prob wont have as many peeps and wont be tht good cuz there not used to making futuristic stuff

well if u think about it cod 4 is the first modern warfare game of the cod series and it did really well so maybe the first futuristic game of the cod series will do well

A futuristic call of duty would epically fail. No point doing it at all. Slightly futuristic like Tom Clancy's End War, or fuel of war are fun, but not to big on the market. I'm taking a marketing class so i know things like this. Games for then won't be too closely looked upon by producers. Futuristic game have been dominated by Halo series, it can't be rivaled. Modern games like COD4 are doing very well, because its the only major game title for the time. Stick with it if it does well. FINAL!

Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3 were really good future games and also Lost Planet wasnt to bad so its not like halo is dominating the future.

There are decent amount of other modern warfare games like both Rainbow 6 Vegas's and Battlefield Bad Company

There probably is at least 1 ww1 game out there but it is probably old

I think that world at wars gonna be stupid so i wouldnt advise buying it, and futuristic is not gonna be cool like if it were like 2020 i would understand but nothing like halo or anything like that cuz that defeats the whole purpose of Call of Duty.

Call of Duty: World at War focuses on the Pacific Theater era.

IT WILL SUCK!!!!! Infinity Ward is not making this one and the last time IW didn't make a CoD game (I believe it was CoD3) It sucked! The only kind of CoD game you want to get are the ones from Infinity Ward.

cod 3 wasnt that bad i liked the direction they were going with the game like how u could use mines and had the grenade launcher thing with the rifles, the sniping did suck though, yah i would have to agree with Axl777 Infinity Ward does way better work than Treyarch

the only thing COD3 has over all other COD games, use of vehicles. Vehicles=awesomeness!

yah the vehicles was a good idea but i think the levels weren't really big enough for the vehicles they should make a cod game with levels the size of the Battlefield Bad Company levels with a shit load of people that would be sick

yah i agree with sniper and its gonna be extremely gay since the makers of cod2 are doing cod5, plus its ww2 again. infinty ward is the all out best at these games. end of discussion.

If they do make the game modern warfare i hope they will have a lot more weapons and some more attachments (a wider variety of gun camo would be nice also) also i hope they have incidenary nades that would be fun. another fun thing would to have it more gory cuz i mean if u really shot someone with a barret .50 cal (or even a shotgun) their head would be blown clean of their shoulders (or at least his brains would be all over the wall) or they would lose their arm most likely and so on. Same with airstrikes and other explosives it would make the game more intense. Also a destructive enviroment would add to the excitment.

Just imagine a COD4, GoW, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, and Battlefield: Bad Company mixed together just think about it the gore of GoW, the multiple weapons, attachments, and ability to change the way ur soldier looks like, of Rainbow 6, the Giant maps, vehicles and destructive enviroment of Battlefield, and finally the realistic graphics, smooth controls and perk system of the GoTY COD4
